Spare a thought, share a little

This Christmas, ihAg is launching a campaign aimed at raising awareness of the issues facing many people this winter. Financial hardship can happen to anyone, at any time. It doesn't just happen to a minority of people and the causes are many and varied.

Redundancy, relationship break up, illness, addiction and bereavement are just the tip of the iceberg.

This Christmas, spare a thought for those who face adversity and who may be at risk of losing their home. Can you share a little?

Here are a few ideas of how you could help:

  • Donate the money you would spend on sending Christmas cards
  • Buy an extra present for a person in need and donate it to ihAg. Here's our wish list for Santa's little helpers
  • Tell us your favourite low cost recipe and we'll pass it on to our residents
  • Maybe donate the ingredients or cooking utensils needed to make your favourite recipe
  • If you're a business manager, why not donate the cost of this year's Christmas party to help us keep the Chapman Centre running?
  • A starter pack for a new resident moving into one of our houses costs £75
  • Sell mince pies and donate the profits to ihAg
  • Fill a piggy bank with small change and bring it in to our office

The list is endless and we're always on the look out for new ideas. However large or small, your donation will help someone journey from adversity to security. Thank you.
