Part time 16 hours (3 or 4 mornings per week, starting 6:00-6:30am, must include Wednesday and Friday).
Salary £24,977 (pro rata £10,656 for 16 hours) plus 7% pension contribution
We are looking for an Outreach worker to locate and engage with people sleeping rough within the Ipswich boundary and offer initial support to encourage them into services and to move off the streets into appropriate accommodation.
You will have some experience of working with people who are homeless, rough sleepers or at risk of homelessness. You will also have knowledge of homelessness/housing related issues.
You will be able to find creative ways to engage with people and an ability to engage with those who have complex personal circumstances such as alcohol or substance misuse, language barriers, mental health issues, a history of trauma and/or offending/antisocial behaviour.
Closing date is 7 December 2023 at 10 am.
Interviews will take place on 14 December 2023.
Part time: 18.5 hours (Monday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 4.30pm, Saturday 10 to 2pm).
Salary £20,417 (pro rata plus 7% pension contribution
We are looking for an outgoing and friendly individual, to join our team as a Business Support Assistant. You'll be the first point of contact at ihAg headquarters, offering a warm welcome to people who are visiting for support, and ensuring they are connected with the team member they need.
You'll support the team in the day-today running of services, and undertake some basic admin and health and safety tasks.
Ideally, you'll have some experience in customer service, but full training will be offered.

The Trustees are Directors of the company and form the voluntary management committee. The Board meets approximately every two months to review the strategic, financial and operational position of ihAg, and agree future priorities.
