Based in central Ipswich
We are seeking an enthusiastic Triage Worker, to engage with people visiting the Homelessness Hub for the first time.
As first point of contact, you will register them for our services, and complete an initial needs assessment to ensure we can meet their needs.
You must be skilled in engaging with people who have a range of complex needs and enabling them to identify their own strengths and goals. You will be knowledgeable in trauma-informed approach and be willing to work flexibly to support each individual’s needs.

Casual hours (Saturdays)
Salary £13.58 per hour, including holiday pay. Equivalent to annual salary of £26,475
Based in central Ipswich
We are recruiting a team of Bank Advocacy Workers, who will play a crucial role in providing our Saturday service as part of a rota. The role includes welcoming service users, providing practical support (e.g. food, laundry), identifying other areas of support and maintaining relevant records.
You should have experience of working either with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, or with people who have complex personal circumstances. You will also have experience of working with a range of professionals/third parties.
Please note that this post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

The Trustees are Directors of the company and form the voluntary management committee. The Board meets approximately every two months to review the strategic, financial and operational position of ihAg, and agree future priorities.
