The Country Food Trust
We want to thank The Country Food Trust who have generously offered to provide a regular supply of venison to ihAg which we will use to prepare meals for service users at our weekend service. This will really help those we support by ensuring they can get a nutritious meal. The photos shows the Trust making their delivery, and delicious meals being prepared.
The Country Food Trust (The Country Food Trust) is a food poverty charity, which raises funds to provide high-protein nutritious meals to those in need and distributes meals and raw meat to foodbanks and community kitchens across the UK.
The meat comes from their Deer Management Scheme which uses culled wild deer, targeting specific species depending on the local need. It is funded by landowners and philanthropists and reduces wild deer in a region to a sustainable level and alleviates local food insecurity.
Suffolk Building Society - thank you
Huge thanks to Suffolk Building Society for their very generous donation of £10,000 towards the work of ihAg supporting those facing homelessness. This is a great contribution, helping us to continue to offer support, advice and advocacy.

Claydon High School
A big shout out to pupils and staff at Claydon High School who generously donated these gifts, food and essentials for those experiencing homelessness, and those in ihAg accommodation, at Christmas. A huge thank you to all involved.
Government Homelessness Strategy
In December, the Government published a new National Plan to End Homelessness. In this document the government sets out how they plan to prioritise and invest in homlessness and rough sleeping services over the next 3 years. You can read the full docxument on the gov.uk website or with this link
ihAg New CEO
The Trustees are delighted to announce that Sam Hopley has been appointed as the new CEO of ihAg. Sam brings many years' experience of working with, and advocating for, those exeriencing homelessness and is excited to lead ihAg into the next stage of its journey.
ihAg Advocacy - Our Homelessness Hub is funded!
We are delighted to confirm that we have secured three years frunding form the Lottery Community Fund.
This means we can continue to support the rising number of people facing homelessness, and offer the essentails we believe everyone deserves.

ihAg Housing - Housing Related Support Accommodation
Due to changes in the Housing Related Support Accommodation offer from Suffolk County Council, we are no longer able to support people registering for accommodation.
Registration can now only be completed via Ipswich Borough Council Housing Options, or Suffolk County Council Customer First.
