ihAg owns or manages a number of properties across Ipswich where we offer a single room in a shared house for individuals who are homeless. We also offer support where needed to help people develop the skills to be able to live independently.

For over 40 years, ihAg's Housing Services has offered accomodation for single people. We currently house up to 38 individuals across 11 shared homes in Ipswich.
The detached or semi-detached houses are located across Ipswich, with most being close to the town centre.
There is a charge to rent a room in one of our houses. Housing Benefit may help towards this rent and we'll support you to complete the application for this and any other benefit you may be entitled to.
There is an additional service charge which contributes towards utilties.
Anyone over 18, living as a single person who has nowhere satisfactory to live, or is about to be in this situation, can register for accommodation. Unfortunately we cannot house children.
Please note: Sadly, not everyone can be housed immediately and we currently cannot provide support for people who have high or complex needs.
Anyone who is homeless should contact Ipswich Borough Council on 01473 432000.
If you want help or support to do this we can help you at the Chapman Centre.
You can also contact us about ihAg rooms by email Housingservices@ihag.co.uk
The accommodation managed by ihAg is is designed to provide temporary support and stability and not a long-term solution.
When residents are ready to manage their own tenancy, we help them move towards a more permanent housing solution, whether through social housing, the private rented sector or, in some cases, a different shared housing option with more suitable support.
