Our Services

ihAg is here to offer support and advice to every local homeless person who needs it.

Access to our services

Personal adversity can come in many forms. Loss of a job. Breakdown in a relationship. Poor mental health. Landlord giving you notice. When these things threaten the safe space you call "home", do you have a support network to help you through?

At ihAg, we are part of the support you can call on to manage what comes next.

The chapman Centre

The Chapman Centre

Situated on Black Horse Lane, The Chapman Centre is our "homeless hub" offering six days a week emotional and practical support, advice and guidance for people experiencing homelessness, or those at risk of becoming homeless due to challenging personal circumstances.

At the heart of our service is a safe, welcoming space where individuals can access immediate support and begin to rebuild stability in their lives. Our team works closely with each person to understand their situation and provide tailored guidance, whether that’s help with housing, accessing benefits, managing finances or connecting with local services.

Outreach workers undertake early morning walks of the town to locate people sleeping rough on the streets, and ensure they are safe, and can access support for basic needs.
