 Support us

There are a number of different ways that you can support the work of IHAG and the lives of our clients:

Become a Member

IHAG is a membership organisation and relies on members to select the Trustees at the AGM and to be a network that we can call upon for support and information. As part of our network we will brief you on issues affecting our clients, IHAG and the Homeless Sector.

For the measly annual fee of £5, all this can be yours!!

Donate money.

Although a Charity, IHAG runs like a business and therefore has to balance income and expenditure. So far we have managed to do this quite successfully, and hopefully we can continue to do so, but we always need money for new projects and initiatives plus, in these days of threatened public sector spending cuts, we may have to rely more and more on the generosity of individuals like yourselves.

Click on the following link for an explanation of how you can do this - donate money to IHAG

(If you cannot download the Gift Aid / Membership form, or you cannot open the Word document, then please use this email form to request that we send you a paper copy to fill in and return (Don't forget to put your name and address and a note about what you want us to send))

Volunteer as a Money Adviser

Our Money Advice Service works with over 800 individuals each year managing debts in excess of £2million. Currently we have 6 paid money advisers and are actively seeking Volunteer Advisers. Once trained by us, Volunteer Advisers do exactly the same level of work as our paid advisers albeit for only 2 days a week (minimum). We are always looking for people of the right capability to train up as Advisers and we undertake to pay expenses including child care whilst volunteering for us.

If this is of interest to you, then please contact the Money Advice Service on 01473 213102 and ask to speak to someone about becoming a Volunteer Adviser. Alternatively email us here.

Tell your network of contacts and friends about IHAG

IHAG relies on its extensive network of contacts and supporters to help us in our work. Please let other people know about what we are doing by telling them to visit our web site or to make contact direct.

Thank you.
