IHAG’s Money Advice Service provides a speedy and professional service in a relaxed and non-judgmental way. It can help with benefit and debt problems and our advisers can normally see clients for a first appointment within days rather than weeks.
Who is entitled to receive help?
The clients that we usually see tend to be single, over 16 and either homeless or at risk of homelessness. However, as everyone’s circumstances differ, please contact us if you feel we might be able to help you.
In an emergency you can drop in to see us between 10 – 11 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays – outside these hours Advisers will only see people who have an appointment.
Appointments are made either direct to us at IHAG via phone (from 9 - 4.30 on weekdays) or visit (Tuesdays to Fridays between 12 and 3), or through one of the referring agencies (e.g. the Probation Service, IBC, Support workers)
